Subject: [*] MailURL 2.1.1 - Auto-mail URL+title of current WWW page.

"MailURL" offers a quick and easy way to tell a friend (or enemy ;))
about the page you're currently watching in your web browser (works
with iCab, Internet Explorer, or Netscape's Navigator/Communicator). It
creates a new message in Eudora or Claris Emailer, placing the title of
the page in the "Subject: " header, and the URL of it in the body. All
you need to do then is fill in the "To: " header and queue it.

What's new:
- Added routine to handle multiple mail clients.
- Added support for Claris Emailer

System Requirements:
- AppleScript
- OSA Menu and/or FinderPop and/or OtherMenu
- Eudora or Claris Emailer
- iCab and/or Internet Explorer and/or Navigator/Communicator
- Works under Mac OS 7.0 through 9.x

Legalese:
MailURL is freeware. Do with it whatever you like, except sell it or
present it as yours!

Mathemania 1.0.1
(c) 2000, Ephemeron Software.
http://www.kagi.com/ephemeron/

Mathemania is an easy-to-use application designed to allow teachers to
quickly make timed math practice sheets. You simply enter the types of
problems you want (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division), the
range of numbers to cover, and how many per page. Mathemania will randomly
generate a sheet for you! Every sheet will be different!

Requirements: System 7.1 or newer

Subject: [Q] Vimage/Vpower accelerator s/w

Hi info-mac-ers!

I am trying to track down the latest driver software for a G3
accelerator card made by Vimage. Some time ago, the Vpower line of
cards stopped being supported, and the company apparently
disappeared. There is a rumor that the cards will function under OS9,
but not with the version 1.0.1 drivers that I have. If anyone has a
later version of the Vpower drivers, I would *really* like to hear
from them!

TIA.

I have given up Norton in favor of Disk Warrior exclusively, as a
result of its recovering a disk from a Norton vs. FWB Hard Disk Toolkit
problem in 8.1 which Apple announced as fatal (not recoverable) to hard
disks.

If a problem persists after Disk Warrior, then I suggest verifying the
System file (not folder) with ResEdit and if it proclaims it damaged,
replace just the System file. (I've never had the problem before, but
recently had to do this twice with 9.0.4.) That will fix virtually any
problem, in my experience, and I have no connection with ALSoft
(publisher of Disk Warrior) except as a satisfied (and thankful)
customer. Cheers,

Not looking in the right place!

For ANYTHING internet, it's easiest to go to:

http://www.macorchard.com/

where you will find FETCH (the old standbye) and
INTERARCHY (was ANARCHY) and others.

DVD-RAM is not the same as DVD-R. Had you waited 2 months to buy a
new Mac, you could have gotten the new 733Mhz G4, which comes with a
DVD-R "Superdrive" and iDVD software (total cost...about $3500),
which will encode the video and create a nice front end to any movies
or pictures that you happen to have or make. The only limitation that
I know of is that iDVD has a limit of 1-hour video time per DVD, I
believe intended so that you can't go down to Blockbuster & clone
their whole inventory. Apple sells DVDR media for $10 each. Apple
also has a DVD Studio Pro which is a higher-end DVD authoring package
without the 1-hour limit...it sells for just under a grand.

Hope this helps,
Mike
