Subject: [*] Address Book 4.0

Address Book 4
The original code for Address Book was written by Jim Leitch, deceased.
Smith Productions have modified that code to create Address Book 4. The
only changes made were to support the current MacOS, 8.1 and to build the
application using Metrowerks's CodeWarrior. No additional features were
added. The primary changes made to this document has been to eliminate
contact information for the original author. I will support user with
previous version of Address Book when ever possible, however as I do not
have the source code for version prior to 3.7.2.. If you have an older
version of Address Book it is recommended that you upgrade to Address Book
4.

Address Book 4 is an easy-to-use, fast and powerful way to manage and
control lists of names, addresses, and phone numbers. The Application works
on Macs from the Plus to the latest PowerMacs.

* preset fields for easy set-up and data entering
* memory-resident list for fast finding and sorting
* multiple sort capabilities
* import utilities allow importing from other databases, word processing
programs, and Personal Information Managers
* exports to mail merge, databases, word processors, and spreadsheets, and
palmtop computers, including Newton, Psion 3a, Sharp Wizard, and HP95LX
* prints envelopes, labels, business cards, postcards, Rolodex, standard
and custom address books, and lists, in color if your printer supports it
* prints postal bar codes
* phone dialing through modems, the Mac speaker, Hyperdialer=81, and Desktop
Dialer=81
* log file for logging calls, taking notes
* call timer
* macros
* on-line help
* multiple language capability
* password protection
* regular updates will be available on the Internet from regular download
sites.

Address Book, is year 2000 ready. Address Book makes use of the built-in
Macintosh date routines, which function correctly well pass the year 3000.

Subject: [*] Coffee Break 3.2.2

Coffee Break is a simple, Mac-only application designed to help prevent
Repetitive Stress Injuries. One of the most important things you should
do if you have an RSI or think you're at risk of getting an RSI is to
take frequent breaks from your computer. Coffee Break helps to do this by
forcing you to take breaks. You can set the length of the break and the
amount of time between breaks.

Subject: [*] Mighty Barman - FREE 1000 drinks recipies

The Mighty Barman v1.0

This is another :) production basing on "me to!" origin. I was playing with
a very nice Bartender's Friend by Anthony Zimmerman. Anyway, a 100 recipies
wasn't impressing to me be'cause I was owning a text file with exactly 1000
drinks recipies. I don't know where I did get it. Just another file among
others. I have decided to put it back to life producing simple browser to
show recipies.

Now, you are also welcomed to write your own browser/searcher for drinks.
The "BarData" file is in fact pure TEXT file containing all mentioned
recipies :)))

Have fun and remember to avoid driving a car after "testing" recipies ;)

Speaking about drinking - test "Whisky Mac".

Subject: [*] NOVA 3.0 68K/PPC

NOVA 3.0 Abstract

NOVA was designed to be a stable, application based screensaver
environment that takes up a minimum amount of RAM (less than major
competitors at least) and work without the use of any nasty extensions
that generally cause instability in the MacOS. NOVA provides three main
services to the user: (1) eliminates the potential for phosphor screen
burn-in, (2) provides security for your system, and (3) provides
entertainment for yourself and those who work around you.

Version 3.0 adds many enhancements, including (this is the short list):

1.	Entire rewrite of Settings application using Powerplant, and added
features...

2.	Added option to be "friendlier" to the Mac system. Instead of simply
yielding a little morsel of time to the background tasks by only calling
WaitNextEvent () once or twice every so often, I call it a lot of more.
The more unfriendly the setting, the less WNE gets called.

3.	Added a screen to activate/deactivate saverlets so that it's easier to
set which saverlets will be used by the random selection feature.

4. Added ability to launch a saverlet automatically upon system startup,
restart or when waking from sleep. Keeps those prying eyes off your computer!

5.	Now you can log incorrect password attempts in both saverlets and
trying to enter into the settings dialog. You can even show what the
user attempted to put in as a password.

6. Complete rewrite of all saverlets and the Saverlet SDK, providing
meaner, faster and leaner Saverlets.

7. Mac OS 8.5 (Allegro) compatibility (support for hiding the new control
strip application and process menu).

and much more! See the documentation for more details.

System requirements:

68K or PowerPC MacOS System(download the right version!)
System Software version 7.1.2 or higher.
