Subject: [*] Mac-HaBu 5.2

Mac-HaBu is an accounting program for private users, Clubs and small compani=
es.

The results can be displayed with different exploitations (Profit+Loss,
Budget, VAT,...) and with different graphics.

I give permission for my program to be included on CD-ROM.

New in Version 5.2:

In Europe we have a new currency (Euro). All countries has to change
from their own currency to the new common one within the next 3 years.
So I add some features to Mac-HaBu which will allow this very easy. With
this feature I added the possibility to use two other currencies. These
may be used together with the new currency. E.g. to convert from other
currencies to the new one (Euro). But you can use the feature to convert
amounts from one currency to another one.

Now it is possible to change the size of the columns in all expoitations.

This version is full compatible with version 8.5 of MacOS.

Subject: [*] NameChum 2.1.0; names management.

NameChum is a useful application for changing the name of files, folders
and disks. It can add prefix and/or suffix by using one of offered options:
 * user's choice,
 * date,
 * time,
 * progressive number.
Moreover NameChum has other cool features for working on names:
 * searches/replaces characters,
 * removes any number of characters starting from whatever position into names,
 * truncates start and/or end of names.

Through preferences you may decide:
 * the default action,
 * the default job system,
 * whether NameChum should scan directories,
 * whether it should change names of directories,
 * whether it should restart the progressive number at each session,
 * whether it should try to set the extensions of names following the
Internet Config "File Mapping" setting,
 * whether it should set the extensions of names following only the
Internet Config File Mapping" setting,
 * up to four file type to ignore during the renaming,
 * up to four file type to rename, ignoring the other ones.

NameChum is useful for normal desktop usage, but is cool when works, fine,
fast and in background, with thousands of files.
By using hot keys you may skip the "request" dialog and changing, on the
fly, by using the default action. Moreover there's a key for setting the
preferences before work.
The Eraser is Internet Config, Drag Manager and Navigation Manager aware,
moreover it's Appearance savvy. It requires at least System 7 to run.

Subject: [*] ][2Mac v1.2.7

A new version of ][2Mac has been released recently and can be downloaded
from my homepage http://www.caiw.nl/~adam

][2Mac is a set of 3 applications, 1 for the Mac and 2 for the Apple-][,
that allow you to backup and restore Apple-][ floppies to/from a Mac.
The floppy-image is stored on the Mac in a format that is recognized by
IIe, the Apple //e emulator for the Mac, written by Victor and Vincent Tan
(see: http://www-personal.usyd.edu.au/~vtan/sw/index.html).

One of the users of ][2Mac even reported, that he has successfully
transferred DOS 3.3-, ProDOS- as well as Pascal-formatted disks from
his Apple //e to his Mac, and that he is using the diskimages now
on his Mac, in the IIgs emulator called 'Bernie ][ the Rescue'
(see: http://www.magnet.ch/emutech/Bernie/).

Also... ][2Mac enables you to use a Macintosh to send out and receive
Apple-][-disks to and from your friends over the internet...

version history:
16-jan-1999, v1.2.7
-Both Apple-][ programs were changed somewhat to reduce the possibility of
crashing
  because of wrong user-type-in's
-At special request: When reading a disk from the Apple-][ any
Mac-image-file that
ends with ' bu' (blank, b, u) will be saved as a ][2Mac- (not a IIe-)
document so that
when you double-click this file (these files) later on, ][2Mac will
automatically
start sending out this file (all of these files) to the Apple-][.
-Double-clicking a ][2Mac preferences-file will simply force ][2Mac to use
that file
at start-up. At Quit-time a regular preferences-file will be generated in
the System
  Folder's Preferences folder.

Subject: [*] DST Renamer 1.0b

What is DST Renamer?
When you create a Tajima format file, Punto=AE (and most other embroidery
digitizing programs) write the name of the file into the Tajima file header
so that when the file is opened in your Tajima embroidery machine, a name
appears next to the 'G001' on the Tajima screen.

What if you don't like the name that was written to the Tajima file and want
to change it without re-creating the file from a digitizing program? DST
Renamer allows you to change the name in the header of any Tajima format
file. It will also display some useful information about your Tajima file
like the number of stitches and the number of color changes.

Who Needs DST Renamer?
If you have Tajima embroidery equipment and a Macintosh, you need DST
Renamer. If you don't use Tajima format files (those embroidery files that
end in .DST), DST Renamer is about as useful as a navel lint.

It is designed to allow quick and easy access to applications, Control

It works by clicking on icons installed in a floating window, or dropping

covered by windows. HandyMan also requires a lot less desktop space than

1500+ Apple and Apple related sites included here. Also included
(but not in the 1500 count) is the standard IE Favorites list. If
you have these already, simply delete those folders after importing.

You may think IE has all the Mac sites you will need....... Ain't
even close! What I will agree with, if you prefer the folders and
names that come with IE, keep those folders you like but transfer
the MacHead bookmarks into them and discard the MH folders.

Just about every Apple site and most of the major Apple friendly=92s

Needless to say it=92s optimized for iMac and most definitely for

Subject: [*] McPoker 1.0

McPoker - inspired by the generosity of the people who continue to host and
support IRC poker I decided I'd throw in some of my time and put together
a client program so that Macintosh users could play IRC Poker as
comfortably as people forced to use Windows machines. This is a client
program (visual front end) that communicates over the internet using IRC
protocols to a poker server so that you can play poker with other real
players and some not-so-real players. Obviously (I hope) you need to have
your internet connection running before you can use this software to play.
It was mostly modeled after Greg Reynolds' Gpkr -- an excellent IRC poker
client for
Windows which most IRC poker players seem to be using. McPoker does not yet
have some of the advanced features of Gpkr, but I think you will find that
it makes IRC Poker an enjoyable experience on a Macintosh. You will need
to be using Open Transport networking on your Macintosh for McPoker to
work.

Subject: [*] Mini Conversion

Mini Conversion -- a small utility, which can manipulate file Type and
Creator signitures as well as changing weather files are visible, name
locked or stationery.

In simple terms, Type and Creator signitures are the codes by which the Mac
OS associates files with applications. They also effect the icon which a
file displays on the desktop. It can be useful to be able to change these
if you, for example, have a bunch of text files which you saved while
surfing the World Wide Web. The trouble is that you don't want to have to
open them opening in your web browser every time you double click them -
you want to open them with a great text editor like BBEdit, so you change
the files type and creator codes so that when you double click on your text
files they open straight into BBEdit. You're not changing anything about
the actual file, just what program the Finder thinks they were made with.
Mini Conversion is also compact so that you can leave it running in the
corner of your monitor while you work :) Batch conversion - drop folders
onto Mini Conversion to convert the contents.

Subject: [*] Power Menu 2.2.2aJ - Japanese Version

File Name: powermenu2.2.2aj.sit.hqx

This is the Japanese version of the PowerMenu package.

PowerMenu is a utility that adds powerful commands to your contextual menu
if you are running MacOS 8 or better. If you are running the older
Macintosh System 7, PowerMenu adds a contextual menu to your system so you
can still use this innovative feature without upgrading to MacOS 8.
PowerMenu's contextual menu commands let you do all these operations with a
single click:

*Open files straight into any application. If the application you want to
use isn't running, PowerMenu automatically launches it for you.
*Move, copy or make an alias of files straight into target folders of your
choosing.
*Quickly open commonly used files or launch any application.

PowerMenu also provides these handy features:

*"File Copy and Paste", a unique feature that makes manipulating files much
easier. With File Copy and Paste, you can "pick up" files and "drop" them
into another folder without dragging and dropping. You can even "gather"
many files from different locations and copy or move them all to a single
target folder with just a few clicks or keystrokes!
*A pop-up menu, accessible from any application, that lets you quickly open
or launch your commonly used files and applications with a single click.

PowerMenu gets the job done faster with:

*Fully hierarchical menus to allow you to group items into submenus for
even faster access.
*Multithreaded operation; PowerMenu rebuilds your menus in the background
while you work, so even very large menus appear instantly.
*Takes full advantage of MacOS 8 features, but is still fully compatible
with System 7!

Version 2.2.2 (January 9th, 1999) Provides the correct icon for each item
on the Quick Access popup menu under MacOS 8.5 (icons are still generic
under earlier releases of the MacOS). AppleEvents no longer time out when
cutting & pasting very large files in the Finder. Some memory management
improvements.

Version 2.2.2a (January 15th, 1999) Corrects a bug in v2.2.2 that would
cause machines without an installed debugger to crash under certain
circumstances.

Subject: [*] QuickTrash1.0.2.sit.hqx

This is replacement of cfg/quick-trash-10.hqx or older version of Quick
Trash.

About QuickTrash...
QuickTrash enables you to move a file, a set of files, a folder or a set
of folders to Trash Folder with a point-and-click while your other hand
is holding down a specific key combination to enable the feature. It is
great when you have lots of files to remove and they are scattered all
over or you have many windows opened so that you can't dig out the Trash
to dump the files.

How to install...
QuickTrash is an INIT program that goes into Extension Folder of your
Macintosh. After download, decode '.hqx' file, unstuff '.sit' file, then
you will have a folder containing the program and other information.
Move QuickTrash to your System Folder and click okay to move it into the
Extension Folder. Restart your computer.

How to operate...
When you are on Finder, press down Control Key with Option Key. The
arrow cursor should be changed to something else. Click with a mouse on
the file you want to delete. If the cursor is not changed with the key
combination or the file doesn't move to Trash when it clicked, maybe
your machine is not configured to work with this version. Check the
requirement again...
To remove a set of files or folders, while QuickTrash is
activated(combo-key), select files as you would do normally when you are
in the finder(rubber band method).

Requirements...
This version is NO FAT which is only designed to work for PowerPC
Macintosh, and only tested for MacOS 8.1 and MacOS 8.5.
- PowerPC Macintosh
- MacOS 8.0 or higher

Shareware...
QuickTrash is a shareware. Send $10 USD check if you decided to keep
the program.
Make it payable to: Sung-Jin Lim
Address: 789 San Remo, Irvine CA 92606

Release Note...
Jan 9, 1999 version 1.0.1

organize useful information (such as registration codes, serial numbers,
product notes, etc.) about all your computer products (hardware and
software). Relying on the standard Internet Config system, Software &
Hardware Tracker is perfectly integrated with your other Internet software.
It also keeps track of all your contact information for software and
hardware developers, distributors and places of purchase, turning it into a
powerful contact and Internet bookmark manager.

It's being distributed as shareware. Several registration and upgrade
options are available. Registrations are handled by Kagi Shareware.

Version 3 is a complete rewrite of the Software & Hardware Tracker program,
offering a better and simpler interface while improving on its already
impressive and powerful set of features.

New in 3.1.3:
- Corrected a problem with the Product Tracker "Validate Database Close"
script.
- Corrected a problem with the "nag" screen in the Software & Hardware
Tracker database.
- Removed the "Find Duplicates" step in the License Tracker "Validate
Database" script.
- Updated the demo records and documentation.
