I don't know if this is practical for you, but I would get Netscape off
one of the MacAddict CDs or MacHome Journal, or one of the other Zine CDs
out there. I have found that Netscape is usually included. :-}

FileTyper 5.3.1 does this and a lot more and is simple to use.

Subject: [*] CopyPaste 4.4.1J - Japanese Version

This is the Japanese version of the CopyPaste package.

CopyPaste is the shareware utility that was awarded a 5
mouse rating by MacUser and was their shareware utility of
the year 1996. Shareware Junkies declared it Mac Product
of the year for 1997. CopyPaste also appeared in the June 97
Wired and has been featured in MacWeek, TidBits, MacAddict and
many other magazines. CopyPaste magnifies the clipboard in many
different ways and has been declared indespensible by web developers,
editors, writers, dtp professionals and everyone who uses
the clipboard.

One of the early wonders of the Mac was its revolutionary ability to do
copy and paste across various applications. Unlike other areas in the Mac's
system software that have changed and progressed over the years, copying
and pasting has not evolved. How many times have you found yourself going
back and forth copying in one application and pasting in a different
application, wishing to yourself that you could copy 5-10 items at a time,
then go to another application and paste each of these items. Now you can
do not only this but view all 100 clipboards, save useful text and pictures
thru restarts and much much more.

**MacOS 9 compatible!
**Many advanced features but easy for beginners!
**Full Drag Drop compatibility!
**Use up to 100 independent clipboards by menu or simple key commands!
**View and access all the clipboard using the CopyPaste Palette!
**Append text to 1 of 10 files on disk at any time!
**Process text, picture and net data on the Clipboards in many ways!
**Use a command key to switch and/or view all applications!
**Works great with iType, iSearch, iCount and iView Multimedia!
**New pop-up palette function and more!
**Clip Recorder - remembers the last 10 items copied via
command c.
**Clip Archive - copied data is appended to one of 10 text
files on disk.
**Save Clipboards thru Restarts - allows all 100 Clipboards
to be saved thru Shutdown or Restart.

CopyPaste eliminates tedious repetitive work and increases
your ability to get the job done.

Subject: [*] MultiMode 2.7.0

MultiMode allows your Macintosh to decode and transmit several different
modes of non-voice communication often heard on shortwave radio.

In the past, dedicated hardware, often costing hundreds or thousands of
dollars, was necessary to demodulate and decode this transmissions. Today,
you can use the processing power of your Macintosh to decode and display
these modes, without any additional hardware, other than your Mac and a
radio.

MultiMode supports the following modes:

       Morse Code (CW)
       RTTY (Baudot)
       ASCII
       SSTV (Slow Scan TV)
       SITOR-A
       SITOR-B / FEC / NAVTEX
       WEATHER / SATELLITE FAX
       ACARS (Aircraft Message System)
       PSK31
       Hellschreiber
       DTMF, EIA, CCIR Tone Modes
Audio Spectrum Display to aid in properly tuning in stations

Subject: [*] Scruffle.1.1

Scruffle's main dialogue window randomizes isolated wordpairs in
adjacent text windows. The list dialogue window allows the user to input
up to 100 wordpairs and up to 50 questions in saveable lists. Scruffle
comes with 5 complete lists pre-configured. The scroll arrows allow
(left or right) independent column or (center) locked wordpair
scrolling. By observing the randomly generated wordpairs one pair at a
time, new ideas are generated which can be entered in the notes window
and later copied to a wordprocessing document. Similarly, the questions
prompt new idea answers. Scruffle is fully functional shareware. You
should send me $10 so I can create new programs and inform you of
upgrades to Scruffle.1.1.

Subject: [*] V&N Lookup 1.3.9 - dictionary, spellchecker, word-translator

'V&N Lookup' is an easy-to-use program that puts dictionary-power at your
fingertips. It makes use of the dictionaries for the application program
'Verbs&Nouns'. You can use 'V&N Lookup' while you are working with other
text-based applications because it searches for any word that you copy to
the clipboard. Depending on which modules you have, 'V&N Lookup' can locate
similar words in several languages at the same time. It can check the
spelling and translate passages of text word for word.

The application 'V&N Lookup' is part of the 'Foreign Language Toolkit'.

Subject: [*] Verbs & Nouns 2.3.9 - foreign language learning

Here is the new version of 'Verbs & Nouns' - 2.3.9

'Verbs & Nouns' is an application for practising inflection, translation
and pronunciation at the level of single words. Features include the
opportunity to do various inflection exercises, and translation exercises in
both directions; to record and play sound for single words; and to do
exercises based on sound or pictures.

The program keeps a record of exercises, and identifies the words that
the student has difficulty with. Along with the program, you need a
module for the target language concerned. The program can also be used
as an authoring tool to write your own modules of inflected words for
any language. A built-in 'inflection-generator' simplifies the addition
of these words. A 'Find' feature allows the modules to be used as
bilingual dictionaries.

Ready-made modules are already available for certain languages. You can
visit:

<http://users.netmatters.co.uk/dandaforbes>

to get more information.

Alternatives are Control Strip Modules, I prefer Control PPP myself [it
