Want to make a diagram? Most graphics applications will let you
down, but not ConceptDraw, reviewed this issue, thanks to its
diagram-specific feature set. We also look at Aladdin's StuffIt
Deluxe 6.0, and cover smaller updates to Eudora 5.0.1, SETI@home
3.0, Action Files 1.5.4, and Action Menus 1.0.2. In the news,
Quark founder Tim Gill exits the company, Napster releases a Mac

Subject: (Q) LDAP conversion utility for Now Up-To-Date

Dear Digest readers,
Seeing as how MacOS X will have its own Addressbook program, and that
my Now Up-To Date 3.6.5 files corrupt in MacOS X beta, I was
wondering if there was a way to take Now's documents and convert them
to the LDAP format MacOS X's Addressbook is able to import from.
Also, is the latest NOW compatible with MacOS X beta, and if the
current version of Now is able to import older Now Up-To Date and
export to LDAP? Also any idea if it is going to be carbonized, or
if there is a similar utility for X that has both a To-Do Calendar
and an Addressbook linked together?

Thank you.
Sincerely,
abrody@smart.net

Welcome to CULTURE INTERCHANGE Square and thank you for your interest
in nigiri-zushi in Japan.
        Version 1.2 adds traditional ayu-zushi.

This program will introduce you nigiri-zushi, a popular Japanese dish.
More than 45 nigiri-zushi in my homeland are introduced with their
ingredients by using color images and illustrations. I ported the content to a
Hypercard stack.

Incidentally, if you're making culture introductory/interchange programs
to post on the InfoMac archives, would you name your program's subject line
with a title that conforms to the "title (your country, province, or state) -
CULTURE INTERCHANGE Square" rule?
For more details, please read the "CULTURE INTERCHANGE Square ?" document.

This program may be copied and distributed as long as it isn't altered and
is distributed at no charge, but it may not be included in any commercial
package. I hope you enjoy it.

Thank you,

Subject: [*] Preternatural Font

Preternatural is a cool sorta-techno font that I put together long ago. I
had developed a sans serif font, which wasn't all that great, but I was
playing with it in Photoshop one day, got a really cool effect out of it,
and said, "Hey! That's gotta be a font!" And so it is. It rocks. This
archive contains the font in both TrueType and PostScript Type 1 formats.

Preternatural is a production of Fontosaurus Text, and is available there
as a free download, in Macintosh and Windows formats. All my fonts are
donationware -- if you download them and use them/link them, please donate
$2.00 (U.S.) to me. There's usually a contest going on, related to what
I'm trying to save up the money for.

You may include this font on CDs or in online archives, but it MUST include
all the contents of the original archive file, including the readme file
and the web link files. Should you include it on a CD for publication
purposes, I would appreciate a contributor's copy. Please email me at
dan.bailey@fontosaurus.com for my snail-mail address.

What it is: Word game for one player or two players in an internal network
Author: Ton Brand
Company: Ton's Software
License: Shareware US$10
Computer: 68K Mac
Mac OS: 7.0 or later
Abstract:
RightWord is a word game that resembles a popular game on Dutch television.
There are a PPC and 68K versions; with this you have the 68K version. It's
meant for both adults and children. The fun of playing RightWord is to find
the 5-letter words (in English) of which RightWord presents the first
letter. You can either play alone or against an opponent, on the same
machine or via an internal network. There's also a factor of luck that makes
RightWord even more attractive, which has to do with 'drawing balls' and
achieving the word 'RIGHT' as column, row or diagonal in a colored grid.
Further, there are 'red balls' to change the course of the game.

Can anyone suggest a simple, easy-to-use architectural drawing

Shareware would be nice but a commercial program would be acceptable
as long as it wasn't too high end.
