Subject: (Q) Application version checking

Does anyone have a recommendation for an application or website that
can search my system for all the applications, determine existing
version number, and report what updates are available? I don't want
to have to do any data entry of existing application names and
version numbers, but am looking for something more autonomous.

Thanks!

Subject: (Q) Print window not working

I've just upgraded my blue/white G3 from 8.6 to 9.0.4. I now find
that, when I open my System Folder and set the window view to file
list, the print window command does not print out the whole file
list. It seems to print just the file list that is visible. Has
anyone else encountered this problem? Has anyone discovered a
work-around?

Thanks!

Not true. iCab DOES have it. Look in the middle of the 'View' menu. That
should be what you're looking for. Make sure you have version 2.0

Anybody with experience with CD-ROM burners care to make recommendations?

I have a client wanting to buy one and he's a bit bamboozled about
which one might be best.

Subject: multiple proxies for IE 5

I use two different web proxies with Internet Explorer, changing from one
to the other with the task I'm doing. It's a big nuisance to have to type
in the info. Is there some way to get IE to store and toggle between
different proxies?
